The Gorgeous Undertow

The clock is ticking, and the days are counting. I’m not really excited about my birthday this September for I’ll be another year older but the whole fashion week event. The schedule has been filled and I couldn’t help but feast my eyes with all the glamour and prestige of that particular gathering of art and elegance. World known fashion icons from Anna Sui, Calvin Klein, Vera Wang Donna Karan, Ralph Lauren and a lot more public figures would surely be present. I have booked a hotel near upper Manhattan already, courtesy of New York Vacation Rentals. I must say they made my itinerary a lot easier not to mention all the packages they offer are simply wonderful; catch is, you have to book in advance especially in this one of a kind fashion experience. My camera is all set for I’ll be definitely taking a lot of pictures! I also hope that I could see those people from Tyra Bank’s America’s Next Top Model contest, as well as the winners of Heidi Klum’s Project Runway because I follow those two shows religiously and I want to see the winners successful and doing things great for themselves. I just can’t wait for that week!

People, especially women would spend so much time and money in ladies clothes and to fix their hair. We’d style our tresses, blow-dry it for hours, have it straightened, have it permed, and even dye it from golden blonde to jet black hair or vise versa. But we never get contented. If you think about it, all we ever want is to have healthy shiny hair, but doing all of these actually damages our locks and sometimes there are no ways to repair it.

Secrets to a shiny hair are simple. You do not need all those hair products on the market. Especially the one that contains alcohol. Alcohol-laced hair products will make your hair dry and brittle. Try cream serum or any water based products.

Speaking of water, another way to have nice glossy hair is to rinse it with cold water. This leaves a smooth and shiny surface. You don’t also need to wash your hair daily if you are not exposed to pollution and humidity. Shampooing your hair a few times a week helps the hair retain its shine. Other hair tips: use conditioner first before using shampoo. This doe not weigh the hair down, and it gives the hair a bit more shine. It is also best to use natural bristles when brushing your hair. Plastic bristles can damage your hair and results to split-ends. Boar’s hair is recommended.

Belt buckles, while ignored by some, can actually become a major source of fashion for both men and women, or course depending on how people would use them. Commonly, belt buckles are used people can keep their pants from going down their waists. But for fashion trend setters, it’s more than just that.

As I’ve said, it will highly depend on how a person would use them. A proper belt buckle can become the perfect ornament for getups that seem to lack flavor. If you look at the channels in the television that shows fashion, celebrities, and even music videos, they will all attest to the fact that belt buckles have been one of the hottest fashion accessories nowadays. For fashion designers, it has been a big deal now that a belt buckle can actually change the overall appearance of their garments, that in just a mere piece of metal, fashion critics all over the world actually take notice of them and make a big fuss out of it.

Belt buckles actually comes in wide variety. Designs are pretty much endless in these little bad boys and they come in all sorts of sizes, colors, weight and fit, making it an easy choice for trendy people all over the fashion world.

Contact Lenses nowadays have been created not only for visual pleasures, but also for a lot of stuff. A lot of people have used it for various reasons due to it’s ability to give different effect on the one wearing them. In Hollywood, it’s no different thing. The theatrical lenses that directors and costume designers have used for the characters in their films, especially the fantasy movies, will not be the same without the magic of contacts.

But even though those theatrical contact lenses are seen in movies most of the time, they can also be used for fashion, especially for the women. The idea of having multiple possible designs for contact lenses made it highly suitable for fashion. We all know that the human eye can be used as a tool for communication, even without the using our vocal chords. it can be used to send out emotions and messages that the mouth cannot give. With the proper set of contact lenses, we can practically give out stronger messages and emotions. Just of course, make sure that you are wearing the right one for the emotion that you are sending, otherwise, you might end up sending the wrong idea, or worse, be a complete joke.

Shoes have a lot of variety. We have athletic shoes, fashion shoes, flip flops, etc. Fashion shoes, or also known as haute couture shoes, are the most expensive kind. They can go up to thousands of dollars for a pair. Some of the expensive shoes are Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik, Gucci, Ferregamo, to name a few.

Most often than not,fashion shoes are not the most comfortable shoes to wear. Most of these shoes are stiletto, these are shoes that have stilts for heels and is usually hard to walk on. They may not the be the most comfortable, but shoes are said to make women feel beautiful. Also , owning these gorgeously made shoes would indicate you have it made. For someone who can actually buy these should be well made. Many celebrities , if not all, own at least one pair of haute couture shoes. Nicole Kidman, Sarah Jessica Parker, Heidi Montag, Paris Hilton, are some of the few who owns these magnificent shoes.

Every year we have the glamorous Emmy Awards. You will see the celebrities all glammed up, putting on their best smiles, biggest jewelries, toned ,sexy bodies, and bringing out their red carpet gowns in a fashion face off. They outdo each other with the most expensive jewelry, best make up, shiniest hair do, and glorious Emmy awards gowns which is to die for. Short, long, strapless, plunging back and front, satin, silk, chiffon, Gucci, Prada, Dulce & Gabbana, the celebs will stop at nothing to be the best.

Unfortunately for some, they go a bit too far. Some celebrities instead of looking like a million bucks, they ended up being wanted for a million bucks. They think that if they put on more stuff or they think they are being stylish or trendy, or being unique, ends up looking trashy or looking like a slob. That is why simplicity is always the best.

You’d think plaid shirts are for cowboys in the wild Wild West. Who’d ever thought that this would become a part of women’s closets, and to be fashionable to boot! This boyish, rugged outfit that comes in a variety of color combinations, no matter how ugly the combination is, looks quite sexy paired up with skinny jeans and heels and or a sexy sandal. Many celebrities wear these plaid shirts while strolling around the mall, doing a little shopping, or sipping a cup of coffee, or just doing some errands. But still look fabulous.

Of course there were alterations to make the manly plaid shirt to fit and flatter the female body. The shirt is shorter, and more body fitted. This is perfect when you want to just sit back and relax and be yourself, and still be stylish. This is one of the items that you should always have in your closet.

Sexy lingerie, hot fashion models, could this be Victoria’s Secret? We don’t really know what really IS Victoria’s secret, but what we know is that Victoria’s Secret has a wide range of products. They have a long beautiful clothing line, chic bags, lovely shoes, dazzling accessories, and delightful beauty products. Although they have a lot of products, Victoria’s Secret is most famous with their sexy little angels wearing their intimate apparel, with or without wings. From simple cotton knickers, jammies, and thermal wear to sexy, hot, sizzling crystal encrusted brassieres and panties. These spicy bras and panties that can make anyone feel oh so sexy regardless of age and size.

When you hear or read “ Victoria Secret Angel”, you’d automatically think of Heidi Klum, Tyra Banks, Giselle Bundchen, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Miranda Kerr, and Karolina Kurkova. These are actually just a few of the sexy fashion models that Victoria’s Secret has. Perhaps the secret lies within their angels, unlike other models, Victoria secret angels are not the skinny, frail looking girls that looks like they had an eating disorder or looks like they can go through the cracks of walls if walking sideways. These “angels” are healthy, always smiling, and are always full of energy. Maybe this is what Victoria wanted people to see, that anyone, with any body type can be healthy and sexy at the same time.
