The Gorgeous Undertow

Every year we have the glamorous Emmy Awards. You will see the celebrities all glammed up, putting on their best smiles, biggest jewelries, toned ,sexy bodies, and bringing out their red carpet gowns in a fashion face off. They outdo each other with the most expensive jewelry, best make up, shiniest hair do, and glorious Emmy awards gowns which is to die for. Short, long, strapless, plunging back and front, satin, silk, chiffon, Gucci, Prada, Dulce & Gabbana, the celebs will stop at nothing to be the best.

Unfortunately for some, they go a bit too far. Some celebrities instead of looking like a million bucks, they ended up being wanted for a million bucks. They think that if they put on more stuff or they think they are being stylish or trendy, or being unique, ends up looking trashy or looking like a slob. That is why simplicity is always the best.

Every girl always dream of their wedding. As a child, we would dream that we would be the most beautiful bride in the most beautiful, extravagant and biggest wedding gowns, and pretty bridesmaid to boot. But as we grow older, reality would bite us and we would realize that not everybody can have and afford that fairytale wedding. But having a beautiful and meaningful wedding doesn’t always have to be expensive. Wedding gowns need not to be extravagant to be gorgeous. Simplicity is the key. Less frills, the better.

If you noticed, most wedding gown designs are kept simple. Many brides would show a little skin (May it be a little cleavage or back or show some of that toned arm). You are supposed to look at the bride, and not just the dress, right? Even the bride’s hair and makeup is kept to a minimum. Having the simple, fresh, carefree look is the in thing nowadays. As long as you are marrying the person you love, and both of you are happy, that my friend, is the most beautiful thing to see in a wedding. Two people very much in love.
