I was trying to think of what I can give as gifts for the holiday season, since we only have a few weeks more. It’s a little struggle nowadays to think of something unique to give to my friends and loved ones since I have been doing this year after year. I want my gifts to be as unique as possible and something useful for everyone.

I’m thinking of clocks since I haven’t given this one yet. I’m pretty much sure that it is useful since everyone looks at the time every day. I’m just thinking where I could find some unique looking ones so that the people that I’ll be giving it to will remember that it was me who gave it to them, and they will want to display it in their houses. I was checking out the Howard Miller grandfather clock, but then again, they are just too expensive for me, and I’ll be buying in bulk numbers. I thought wall clocks would be good so I checked Seth Thomas wall clock, but I figured, it’s a little common. I was browsing through the site when it hit me… Seth Thomas Mantel clock should fit the bill. They are highly distinctive in their designs and great for display. I just hope none of my relatives see this blog, otherwise I might change my mind again and go back to square one…

Belt buckles, while ignored by some, can actually become a major source of fashion for both men and women, or course depending on how people would use them. Contact Lenses nowadays have been created not only for visual pleasures, but also for a lot of stuff. A lot of people have used it for various reasons due to it’s ability to give different effect on the one wearing them. In Hollywood, it’s no different thing. The theatrical lenses that directors and costume designers have used for the characters in their films, especially the fantasy movies, will not be the same without the magic of contacts.

I love wearing t-shirts they are comfortable to use and most especially you can do anything you want with it. Most often than not,fashion shoes are not the most comfortable shoes to wear. Most of these shoes are stiletto, these are shoes that have stilts for heels and is usually hard to walk on. They may not the be the most comfortable, but shoes are said to make women feel beautiful. Also , owning these gorgeously made shoes would indicate you have it made. For someone who can actually buy these should be well made. Many celebrities , if not all, own at least one pair of haute couture shoes. Nicole Kidman, Sarah Jessica Parker, Heidi Montag, Paris Hilton, are some of the few who owns these magnificent shoes.

Every year we have the glamorous Emmy Awards. You will see the celebrities all glammed up, putting on their best smiles, biggest jewelries, toned ,sexy bodies, and bringing out their red carpet gowns in a fashion face off. They outdo each other with the most expensive jewelry, best make up, shiniest hair do, and glorious Emmy awards gowns which is to die for. Short, long, strapless, plunging back and front, satin, silk, chiffon, Gucci, Prada, Dulce & Gabbana, the celebs will stop at nothing to be the best.

Unfortunately for some, they go a bit too far. Some celebrities instead of looking like a million bucks, they ended up being wanted for a million bucks. They think that if they put on more stuff or they think they are being stylish or trendy, or being unique, ends up looking trashy or looking like a slob. That is why simplicity is always the best.

You’d think plaid shirts are for cowboys in the wild Wild West. Who’d ever thought that this would become a part of women’s closets, and to be fashionable to boot! This boyish, rugged outfit that comes in a variety of color combinations, no matter how ugly the combination is, looks quite sexy paired up with skinny jeans and heels and or a sexy sandal. Many celebrities wear these plaid shirts while strolling around the mall, doing a little shopping, or sipping a cup of coffee, or just doing some errands. But still look fabulous.

People, especially women would spend so much time and money to fix their hair. We’d style our tresses, blow-dry it for hours, have it straightened, have it permed, and even dye it from golden blonde to jet black hair or vise versa. But we never get contented. If you think about it, all we ever want is to have healthy shiny hair, but doing all of these actually damages our locks and sometimes there are no ways to repair it.

Secrets to a shiny hair are simple. You do not need all those hair products on the market. Especially the one that contains alcohol. Alcohol-laced hair products will make your hair dry and brittle. Try cream serum or any water based products.

Speaking of water, another way to have nice glossy hair is to rinse it with cold water. This leaves a smooth and shiny surface. You don’t also need to wash your hair daily if you are not exposed to pollution and humidity. Shampooing your hair a few times a week helps the hair retain its shine. Other hair tips: use conditioner first before using shampoo. This doe not weigh the hair down, and it gives the hair a bit more shine. It is also best to use natural bristles when brushing your hair. Plastic bristles can damage your hair and results to split-ends. Boar’s hair is recommended.

Every girl always dream of their wedding. As a child, we would dream that we would be the most beautiful bride in the most beautiful, extravagant and biggest wedding gowns, and pretty bridesmaid to boot. But as we grow older, reality would bite us and we would realize that not everybody can have and afford that fairytale wedding. But having a beautiful and meaningful wedding doesn’t always have to be expensive. Wedding gowns need not to be extravagant to be gorgeous. Simplicity is the key. Less frills, the better.

If you noticed, most wedding gown designs are kept simple. Many brides would show a little skin (May it be a little cleavage or back or show some of that toned arm). You are supposed to look at the bride, and not just the dress, right? Even the bride’s hair and makeup is kept to a minimum. Having the simple, fresh, carefree look is the in thing nowadays. As long as you are marrying the person you love, and both of you are happy, that my friend, is the most beautiful thing to see in a wedding. Two people very much in love.
